Regine and Francisca - A 12/12/12 Seattle to Bainbridge Island Ferry Wedding For 2 Beautiful Women!

Francisca and Regine
December 12, 2012 - Seattle to Bainbridge Island Ferry Run!

Joy! Joy!  Joy!

I loved every moment of knowing and with the amazing Francisca and Regine.

These  beautiful ladies "eloped" from California to Seattle to be married on a Washington State Ferry.

And on a well-numbered day, 12/12/12, they boarded a ferry in Seattle and exchanged sweet and romantic vows as the vessel made it's way around the Sound to Bainbridge Island.

Regine and Francisca - so much love to you!

Marriage Equality in Washington State! Get Married Starting December 9, 2012 in Seattle...

I am thrilled with the passage of Referendum 74 in the beautiful State of Washington.

With all of you, I celebrate Marriage Equality.

I will be in Seattle on Sunday, December 9th, beginning at 12:01 a.m. to marry wonderful couples. I will be available throughout this first day and the month of December to couples of all paths, faiths and traditions – ceremonies big and small.

To get on my calendar, please give me a call at 425.922.1325.

For more information on securing a marriage license in King County, please go to: http://www.kingcounty.gov/courts/marriage.aspx

My sources at King County say they expect 600 – 1000 couples during the first three days that marriage licenses are available. The King County Marriage License office in downtown Seattle will be open for extended hours on December 6, 7 and 8, 2012.

How do I delicately put this…YEAH!!

A BIG Thank You For All Of My Tiny Weddings This 2012!

It’s now November and I move into my two months of “quiet time.”

As I do this, I look back on an incredible 2012, so very grateful for the couples who trusted me with their wedding ceremonies, tiny or big, casual or formal.

For me, it is never about the size of a guest list. It is about the joy and satisfaction I feel to be a part of a lifetime moment and to share in something that is big/huge for a couple. It’s about love. Lots of love.

So, I say “thank you” to each couple who invited me into their personal space to share in their love story.

A Sweet Elopement at Woodland Park Zoo's Gorgeous Rose Garden...

Jamal & Eldrina
October 6, 2012 - Rose Garden/Woodland Park Zoo.

From Bermuda to Seattle with lots of LOVE!

It was such a delight for me to work with Jamal and Eldrina and create a sweet and romantic "elopement" for them on Saturday, October 6th at the Rose Garden/Woodland Park Zoo.

With 2 witnesses from the Zoo looking on and one very fabulous photographer, Jamal and Eldrina celebrated their inspiring and very loving relationship with the gift of a personalized and sweet ceremony.

Some couples are absolutely meant to be.  Jamal and Eldrina are this and so much more.

Dom & Joanne
August 19, 2012 - The Willows Lodge

I loved EVERYTHING about working with Dom and Joanne!

It was on a very fine Sunday - August 19, 2012 - surrounded by a small group of family and friends who live here in Seattle, that Dom and Joanne "eloped" to The Willows Lodge - all the way from their home in England.

Dom and Joanne - much joy and happiness to both of you!  I so look forward to seeing you both again when you visit next Summer...

Wedding Dog "Homer" Elopes To The Salish Lodge!

Wedding Dog Homer
July 2012 - The Salish Lodge

Homer wasn't left home alone!

On one fine day in July of this year, Homer accompanied his beloved guardians, Louis and Agnes, to The Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie, Washington for their small and intimate wedding ceremony and celebration.

With two handsome young men as witnesses (the groom's sons), Homer stood watch as his people exchanged vows on a warm and sunny evening on the patio of their suite overlooking Snoqualmie Falls.

Like Homer, I love pet-friendly hotels and lodges.  Homer was not only a calming presence but he did a most excellent job presenting the rings (look at photo above - see the rings in the pouch around his neck?!)

Congratulations, Louis and Agnes!

One Of The Best Gifts For Your Elopement? Amazing And Professionals Photos!

This time of year, I get wonderful calls from couples - local, from across our country and internationally -  and all want to "elope" to Seattle.

Wonderful!  I can help with this.

And one of the great gifts I suggest for a couple is a professional photographer.

If you are coming to Seattle for a sweet and intimate wedding ceremony, request my short list of photographers who LOVE elopements.  I work with several who are creative, funsy and very affordable.
