Elope to Treehouse Point - A Gorgeous & Intimate Venue For Your Elopement!

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to meet Molly and Zack at Treehouse Point for their small and intimate ceremony.

I love driving out to Preston's Treehouse Point - this is an intimate alternative for couples who are seeking comfort and style in friendly and natural surroundings. All treehouses are well designed and artfully decorated and make for such a unique and fun honeymoon night!

Ryan and Ashley - Let's Get Married This Coming Weekend!

I get a kick out of last minute calls that go something like, "Hi Annemarie! Can you marry us this weekend?"

And I was delighted to meet up with Ryan and Ashley for their sweet elopement at The Salish Lodge this past week.

Ryan and Ashley checked in for the weekend and enjoyed what the Salish Lodge is famous for with newlywed couples: lovely accommodations, superb dining, a couple's massage and more.

What was extra fun about this experience was that when I arrived, Ryan and Ashley didn't have witnesses. So, after asking a few people visiting the falls, I found Tim and Erika who were delighted serve as witnesses!

Ryan and Ashley - Welcome to Washington State and my best to you for a beautiful marriage adventure!

Getting Hitched - Getting Married! Easy & Comfy This Summer...

Summertime in Seattle is a time of tiny weddings everywhere!

If you are planning a small and intimate ceremony here in Seattle (eloping!), here are a few tips to help you plan an easy and comfortable lifetime moment:

1) Find A Great Place - I'd like to refer you to my blog at http://www.elopeseattlestyle.com/ - I list some of my favorite locations in the Greater Seattle area - parks, chapels, outdoor locations, etc.

2) Beware the 3-Day Wait - Don't forget there is a 3-day waiting period from the date your marriage license is issued in Washington State.

3) Find Your Officiant - Officiant schedules fluctuate during the busy Summer months. Make your calls and find a best fit!

4) 2 Witnesses - And finally, you will need 2 witnesses over the age of 18 years of age!
