You're getting married! And you and your Sweetie want a small and intimate ceremony, Seattle style!
Getting married can be as easy as 1-2-3 ~ so, to keep things easy, here you go!
Step 1 ~ Set A Date/Time/Location And Find An Officiant to marry you. We are wonderful folk and your job is to find someone whose personality, sense of style and approach to creating and delivering a ceremony resonates with you. Book 'em!
Step 2 ~ Get Your Marriage License. Please keep in mind there is a 3-day waiting period in Washington State. To secure your license, you'll both need to visit your County office during regular business hours, take a few dollars for the license fee (average $60-65) and finalize your paperwork.
Step 3 ~ Find Two People You Really Like, i.e., Witnesses! To get legal, don't forget the two witnesses (over the age of 18) who will need to witnesses your ceremony.
And Voila, you're married! It's as easy and as complex as this!

A Seattle Winter Elopement ~ A Small & Intimate Holiday Season Wedding Ceremony
I love tiny wedding ceremonies.
There were only three people in the room at the Outlook Inn for Doug and Theresa's small and intimate off-season wedding ceremony on Orcas Island
AND the size of the guest list didn't matter.
It was the "moment" ~ the pure feeling of love and joy that this couple shared as they exchanged vows and thoughtfully participated in their "elopement!"
If you are planning a holiday elopement and/or small and intimate wedding ceremony in the Seattle/Tacoma (Puget Sound area) this holiday season, do what Doug and Theresa did so well ~ take advantage of the off-season rates at a cozy bed and breakfast, small inn or if you prefer plush hotel.
The twinkly lights and the enthusiasm of a holiday season only heightens the joy of "getting hitched!"
