Eloping Ferry Style! Sean & Alexa's Rainbow Elopement ~ Bremerton To Seattle Ferrry!

Look at these happy and excited faces just minutes before saying "I Do" on the Bremerton to Seattle Ferry run ~ Monday, February 21st.

Along with their beautiful son, Hunter, and 20+ thrilled family and friends, Sean and Alexa exchanged vows and celebrated their relationship with a personalized ceremony on board a Washington State ferry.

And moments before they were pronounced "husband and wife," a gorgeous rainbow broke out as a most wonderful affirmation of this loving relationship.

Sean and Alexa ~ thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your ferry wedding - cupcakes, rainbow, happy family, sweet son and all!

A Soldier And His Sweetheart Marry At Woodinville's Willows Lodge On A Chilly And Sunny Sunday Afternoon...

Sometimes, a story is so sweet and simple.

You see, Zach loves Meghan. Meghan loves Zach.

This young couple wed in front of a dozen happy family members at Woodinville's Willows Lodge, in the sweet sunshine of a February Sunday afternoon.

I really appreciate this young couple. Zach planned the ceremony and celebration dinner and Meghan was able to relax and truly enjoy her wedding day.

Your Marriage License: Don't Forget The "3-Day Waiting Rule" In Washington State

Okay, this isn't the most romantic topic to discuss, and here it goes!

Simply put, if you are being married in Washington State, you will need a valid marriage license.

Please remember that there is a "3-day waiting period" from the date your marriage license is issued.

Many couples don't realize this and I wouldn't be surprised if many "freak out" the week of their wedding because they have been putting this task off until the last minute.

So, depending on the date of your ceremony, make the time to visit your County Auditor and secure your license with no fretting about time!

Elope Seattle! Tips For Planning Your Small And Intimate Wedding Ceremony in Seattle, Washington...

I love small weddings. I love big weddings.

But we're talking about small wedding here!

As you consider your intimate wedding ceremony on your wedding day, here are a 3 planning tips to consider...

1) "Where" Creates A Big Memory! While your vows and the words of your ceremony are sweet and poignant, the setting for a small and intimate wedding ceremony sets the stage for a big memory. My couples who elope love to get married in very special places and spaces - all the way from the Top of The Space Needle, to on the Monorail, at Alki Beach with their feet in the water...you get the picture!

2) Consider A Weekday Wedding. As you plan your wedding day, ponder having it on a weekday. Venues and hotels love weekday weddings and "vendors" most often will provide a discount outside of the popular weekend time frame.

3) Mark The Moment With Fabulous Photos. Couples cherish wedding photos, no matter what size the wedding! For your elopement or small/intimate ceremony, find a professional photographer who loves tiny engagements and who has flex/affordable small photography packages. A small wedding isn't about the size of the guest list - it's about the moment and exqusitely capturing that moment for a lifetime.
