If you are looking to elope on a Washington State Ferry, you are in luck!

Happy July 4th! And A Big Holiday Weekend For Elopements in Seattle!

4th of July is a crazy good weekend in Seattle for elopements!

Over the weekend, I met Brian and Sarah on Alki Beach for their vows and made my way to Tacoma for Glen and Sharon's wedding ceremony on Ruston Way.

Last night, just before the fireworks I'll be in Ballard to make sure Lenny and Sarah are hitched in style!

If you are planning a holiday elopement in Seattle - perhaps thinking about Labor Day - plan early. Hotel rooms are at a premium and if you need a permit for a special park, making plans around this sooner than later is smart!

All The Way From Germany! Inken & Steffen's Elopement To The Salish Lodge!

People come from all over to the Puget Sound area to celebrate their love and exchange their wedding vows.

Steffen and Inken certainly racked up a lot of frequent flyer miles as they made their way from Germany to The Salish Lodge for their wedding ceremony on the first day of Summer, June 21st.

Surrounded by a small group of family and friends, Steffen and Inken exchanged vows on the balcony of the Lodge's Cliffside Room in full sunshine.

They celebratee with an immediate post-ceremony toast and then went off for pictures before their celebration dinner.

Steffen and Inken - I know you are now safely home and so wish you much happiness in your life together!

Getting Married In The Seattle Area? A Sweet & Intimate Wedding Ceremony And Celebration At The Salish Lodge

The Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls is a perfect spot for a small and intimate wedding ceremony and/or elopement.

I was there last night to share in Jose Martin and Luisa's ceremony with 13 of their dearest family and friends - most of whom flew in for the event. Immediately afterwards, the couple hosted a beautiful and intimate dinner in the Lodge's Boardroom overlooking Snoqualmie Falls.

Sequim, Washington for a small and intimate wedding ceremony? For an elopement?

Ben and Sarah were married with two witnesses outside of their Sequim bed and breakfast on a misty Spring weekday morning.

Elope To Treehouse Point in Preston, Washington!

On one beautiful sunny day last week, this special couple held a very private ceremony under a canopy of trees at Treehouse Point in Preston, Washington.

With only two photographers to capture this moment, this sweet couple exchanged vows and personal words and it was just "between them."

Sometimes there are no words to describe something sweet, intimate and profoundly authentic.
